137 Secondary School ‘Angel Kanchev’ is a school with a 53-year history which keeps its educational traditions and is determined to build its new, modern vision for the future. At present highly-qualified specialists who have much experience work at it and they focus their work on the personal development of the child. In their work the teachers from the primary school level are led by the following priorities:
- encouraging the individuality and improving the self-confidence – each child should be aware of their personal qualities and skills and develop them according to their desire – educational interaction;
- to be aware of the fact that ‘the others’ are also special – forming of tolerance to ‘ the different’ children;
- knowledge of the native country and its nature.
